What gym operators told us

Time goes to running the gym.

Who decides

Owners and managers are close to the call.

At interviewed independent gyms, owners or on-site managers typically made or shared software decisions. One co-op involved its board.

What takes time

Admin and scheduling add up.

Four of five gyms in the discovery summary named admin or scheduling as a time sink; three raised it unprompted.

Where groups fit

Group bookings often sit outside the core system.

At three of five gyms, group and party bookings ran through email, phone, a separate calendar, or paper.

Early findings from a small, BC-centered sample—not a market-wide claim. Waiver experiences depended on the tools and integrations in place; climber interest in busyness has not been validated. Group-booking management is not in this preview.

What is Elevate?

Elevate is an early climbing-gym operations app for owners, front-desk teams, and members. The preview focuses on check-ins, member details, waiver status, and gym busyness.

Who is it designed for?

Independent climbing gyms in BC and the Pacific Northwest. At gyms we interviewed, software decisions typically sat with an owner or on-site manager, sometimes with a co-owner; front-desk teams handled the daily workflow.

Can my gym use the demo in daily operations?

No. This is a hosted early preview with fictional, seeded data. Do not enter real climber information or use it to run a live gym.

Does it take payments or sell memberships?

No. Membership and waiver details are visible in the preview, but buying or renewing memberships and processing payments are not available.

How much does it cost?

Pricing has not been set. There are no paid plans or subscriptions at this stage.

Where can I learn more or share feedback?

See the project README for implementation details and the issue tracker for current work. The tracker is public, so do not post passwords, personal information, or real customer records.
